Great news - we are vaccinated for Covid-19

We have been busy doing some changes to the dental office. We have been keeping current with the American Dental Association guidelines as well as those of the CDC which speak specifically to dental care. You may notice some of these changes when you come to your next dental appointment, such as:

  • a mask is required to enter the dental office.

  • the chairs in our waiting room have been rearranged to respect social distancing.

  • patients may remain in their cars until their hygienist or assistant is ready for them - call us when you arrive!

  • a new COVID health screening and temperature will be taken at the beginning of every appointment.

  • HEPA air purifying systems are deployed in every room.

  • new suction devices are being used to help reduce aerosols.

In dentistry we have been practicing in a very clean environment for decades. We are used to disinfecting and sterilizing our rooms and instruments so these changes, although new, do not require a significant shift in the way practice. Please rest assured that we are doing our very best to keep you and everyone here at the Suttons Bay Dental Center safe.

The Michigan Dental Association has developed a great recourse that explains many of the things we are doing in our office that may be interesting for you to explore. It can be found by clicking here.

We are working hard to serve you and keep everyone safe! We hope to see you soon.
